Networking
Networking is a prime advantage facilitated through monthly meetings
featuring community leaders and/or other Chamber members discussing
current business and community related issues. These meetings
provide a forum to showcase your own business.
Networking also involves social gatherings, such as our summer
New Member Barbecue, Spring Pig Roast, and our annual Christmas
Party. Members are encouraged to bring their spouses, employees,
and other guests to enjoy the camaraderie that these special events
create. Take advantage of these gatherings to promote your business
by bringing literature, giveaways, or other business related materials.
Chamber Sponsored Advertising
Reduced rate advertising in community based newspapers is available
through Record Publising Company and
Sun Newspapers, and offer an excellent
forum to reach thousands of potential customers on a weekly basis.
With your Chamber of Commerce membership, you also have the opportunity
to become a sponsor for one of our weekly Parties in the Park
throughout the summer. These special events, which feature live
entertainment, dancing, food and beverages, door prizes, and 50/50
raffles, attract an average of 800-1000 people each week. This
provides an excellent opportunity to create public awareness about
your business.
Additional advertising opportunities are also available through
our website. Periodically, we feature Chamber businesses and links
to their websites in a speical page devoted specifically to our
members. If you are interested in participating in this program,
