2008 Christmas in Bedford Falls
On December 13th, the Bedford Chamber of Commerce will host the Annual 2008 Christmas in Bedford Falls. The theme for this event is based on the holiday classic It’s a Wonderful Life!
The goal of this event is to encourage and draw shoppers to downtown Bedford during the holiday season. The attendance in 2007 was excellent. We received many positive responses from participating businesses and we have begun planning a bigger and better event for 2008.
Here are some good reasons to get involved this year:
- "Itwas the largest sale day of the year.” “Biggest crowd for any event in which we have participated in over 45 years.” LaGra Jewelers.
- Star Glass attracted record amounts of people to their store by hosting a pianist.
- The Plain Dealer Front page article promoted our event and record crowds came
- Two thousand (2000) Bedford shoppers signed up for the Frequent Shopper Raffle.
- So many people enjoyed the horse drawn wagon we are having 2 this year.
We are building on the success of previous years, such as repeating the Frequent Shopper Raffle. This offers shoppers the opportunity to enter and win valuable prizes by spending $10 at a participating Bedford business. (See General Information for detail).
Our Christmas event will again feature…
Santa Claus arriving on a train
Photos with Santa
Horse-drawn wagon rides through town
Entertainment along Broadway Avenue
Fun & festive activities at various businesses including
Giveaways, Face Painting, Clowns, and other entertainment
Ice Sculptor (outside events adjusted to weather)
We encourage all to join in the benefits by your involvement in supporting this event A Participation Form is attached for your convenience. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Jeri Smith at the Chamber, 440-232-0115, Mon.-Wed.-Fri. 9am – 2pm
The greater the participation, the greater the rewards for each business!
We thank you for your support and look forward to another successful event!
